This manual contains instructions for operating two administrative programs: the Standard Value program and the Guidelines program. These programs are operated and controlled by a selected individual in the Estimating. and Scheduling Department of the Martin Marietta Energy Systems, Inc., Engineering Division. They are used to control and standardize input into the Automated Estimating System (AES) Estimating program, a personal computer-based software package designed to aid in the creation, updating, and reporting of project cost estimates. The AES Estimating program is documented in a separate user`s manual.
