The US DOE has facilities and sites which have produced a multitude of wastes that are and could be hazardous to the environment. Remedial action and environmental restoration of the facilities is the goal of DOE for the next 30 years. The Hanford Site in Richland, Washington is one of these sites. The fiscal year work plan discusses the Environmental Restoration Remedial Action Program of the Hanford Site for 1992. Implementing this work plan requires resolution of several issues including: program description, work breakdown structure, milestones, budgets and contractor management. (MB)
