Saturation effects in degenerate four-wave mixing spectroscopy: Nonperturbative calculations

Saturation, collisional, and Doppler effects for gas-phase degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) are investigated through nonperturbative solution of the density matrix equations. The calculated lineshapes and pressure dependence are in excellent agreement with nitric oxide DFWM experiments.
