The Weatherization Analysis and Management System (WAMS) is a comprehensive microcomputer-based system of energy analysis and program management designed for use by subgrantees in the New York State Weatherization Assistance Program. WAMS includes three principal sub-programs, a Weatherization Management System (WMS) which incorporates client intake and tracking, inventory tracking and control, subcontract management, and reporting functions, an energy audit program (EA-QUIP), and an energy savings analysis program (ES-QUIP). The goals of this project were: (1) to implement the WAMS software at 20 WAP subgrantees and train their staff in its use; (2) to improve the WAMS software to meet the operating and reporting needs of the participating agencies and WAP; and, (3) to prepare a plan for extending the WAMS software to all NYS WAP subgrantees.
