Research and development of a proton-exchange-membrane (PEM) fuel cell system for transportation applications. Quarterly report.

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:10124564
The overall objective for Phase II is the development of a stand- alone 30-kW (net power) Fuel Cell System running on methanol reformate. In addition, the successful operation of this fuel cell system will require it to be built within the constraints of automotive system needs and operational conditions. The program is structured to focus on those areas in most need of technological innovation. This 7th quarterly report summarizes activity from 1 April 1996 through 30 June 1996. The report describes the background of the project and work performed on the fuel processor, fuel stack, system integration and controls.
