Measurement of {bar p}p elastic and total cross section at {radical}s=546 and 1800 GeV at CDF

CDF measured the total, elastic and diffractive cross sections using the luminosity independent method. In this contribution we present the results for the total and elastic cross sections. CDF measured (1 + {rho}{sup 2}) {center_dot}{sub tot}=62.64{plus_minus}0.95 (81.83{plus_minus}2.29) mb at {radical}s=546 (1800) GeV. The elastic cross sections are 12.87{plus_minus}0.3 and 19.70{plus_minus}0.85 mb at the two energies. The elastic scattering data are well described by an exponential e{sup bt}, with a slope b of 15.28{plus_minus}.58 (16.98{plus_minus}.25) GeV{sup {minus}2}.
