This two volume set contains the proceedings of the Tenth Particulate Control Symposium, held jointly with the Fifth International Conference on Electrostatic Precipitation in Washington, D.C. on April 5--8, 1993. These proceedings contain more than 60 papers presented by representatives from utility companies, equipment and process suppliers, universities, the Department of Energy, research and development companies, architect engineers and Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) staff members. The attendees presented information on worldwide technologies from over twenty countries. This was the first joint meeting of the Particulate Control Symposium and the International Society for Electrostatic Precipitation (ISESP). Volume two includes papers related to electrostatic precipitation and associated technologies. An increased emphasis is seen on the use of corona systems to generate energetic radicals for the control of gaseous species. Emphasis continues on the modernization of the electrical control systems for electrostatic precipitators. Volume Two serves as the proceedings of the Fifth International Society for Electrostatic Precipitation as well as Volume Two of the EPRI Particulate Control Symposium. Individual papers are indexed separately.
