Research was carried out and discussions were held at IRE with A. Sacchi and R. Falcioni. Work was concluded on one manuscript describing the expression of {alpha}{sup 6}{beta}{sub 4} in lung tissue and lung tumors. Another manuscript on the expression of {alpha}{sup 6}{beta}{sub 4} in normal colon and colon tumors was planned. The traveler performed research concerning the quantitation and molecular structure of {alpha}{sup 6}{beta}{sub 4} in human tissues using new monoclonal antibodies developed at ORNL. A manuscript describing these experiments and others is being prepared. A seminar was presented to the Institute.
