The International Energy Annual presents current data and trends for production, consumption, stocks, imports, and exports of primary energy commodities in more than 190 countries, dependencies, and areas of special sovereignty. Also included are prices on crude oil and petroleum products in selected countries. This report is published to keep the public and other interested parties fully informed of primary energy supplied on a global basis. The data presented have been largely derived from published sources and from reports US Embassy personnel in foreign posts (refer to sources listed in Appendix D). The data have been converted to units of measurement and thermal values (Appendices A and B) familiar to the American public.
