The hydrogenation activity of nickel-titanium catalysts prepared from Ni-Al-Ti alloys, produced by mechanical alloying, is higher than that of catalysts produced by the pyrometallurgical method. It is shown that the catalyst activity passes through a maximum at a certain content of titanium in an alloy.
