Properties of metal-anthracite contacts at high flow densities

The volt-ampere characteristics (VAC) of metal-anthracite contacts have been measured under isothermal conditions in the pulsed regime. A deviation from linearity of the distribution of potential in the regions of anthracite adjacent to the contacts has been detected which can be explained by the injection of free charge carriers from the contacts.
