Study of the interaction of palladium bis(acetylacetonate) with boron trifluoride etherate by IR and UV spectroscopy (in Russian)

It has been shown in this work that the reaction of palladium bis(acetylacetonate) with boron trifluoride etherate is accompanied by the stepwise intracoordination exchange of acetylacetonato ligands for fluorine between palladium and boron. The process can proceed in two directions, depending on the initial concentration of the palladium complex and the B:Pd atomic ratio in the reaction medium. Different coordination compounds containing boron and palladium, but differing significantly in solubility in organic solvents are, accordingly, obtained.
