Title: A summary on the lead-210 cycle in nature and related applications in Scandinavia

The lead-210 cycle in the globe is briefly commented on. The utility and applicability of the lead-210 methodology in sedimentological, biogeochemical and environmental investigations of Scandinavian aquatic systems are summarized. 129 refs., 2 figs.
