During 1982 to 1983, Lewin and Associates, Inc. developed the Tight Gas Analysis System (TGAS) as a planning and assessment tool for both GRI and the DOE. During this reporting period Nov. 1983 to Nov. 1984, TGAS was used to support the GRI Tight Gas Reservoirs Project area in three tasks: (1) evaluation of benefits of the entire program and its subcomponents; (2) detailed analysis of a single formation (the Travis Peak); and (3) fine grain assessment of the role of information in the decision to drill, develop and produce a flight gas prospect.
