The closeout plan was modified during the quarter to reflect a no cost extension of the Phase II period of performance from 15 November 1987 through 15 January 1988 and a delay of the PPM magnet warmup to the first quarter of CY 1988. The magnet warmup delay was instituted to allow the possible use of the PPM for an application demonstration. To maintain the overall closeout schedule, the resources associated with the magnet warmup are being used to accelerate the PPM process hardware decontamination. 8 figs., 4 tabs.
