Aggressive tank replacement program works well for OSI
Oil Services Inc., (OSI), is a perfect example of a different attitude taking hold among oil heat companies regarding residential; heating oil storage tanks. Now, instead of ignoring tanks and leaving customers to the tender mercies of tank removal contractors, more and more companies are taking active steps to educate and assist customers with their storage tanks. OSI, in Oceanside, New York, has for several years taken an active role in showing customers the positive steps to be taken to maintain storage tank security. The newsletter, the new policy, the new sales approach-are all part of the new philosophy of customer tanks being followed successfully by OSI. With it, it is reported that they have been replacing an average of 100 tanks per year for the past four years.
