Title: EPA proposes to streamline air permits: Could save industry $600 million

EPA has released a revised proposal for implementation of the agency`s litigation ridden Title V air permitting program. The agency has been under pressure from industry to streamline the program, and this summer Congressional leaders told EPA to significantly reform the program or face new legislation.
