Structural property of polycrystalline La{sub 1.9}Bi{sub 0.1}Mo{sub 2}O{sub 9-δ} has been investigated. Rietveld refinement at room temperature of the material suggests single phase nature with cubic symmetry (space group P2{sub 1}3). The electron charge density contour map has been successfully obtained from Rietveld analysis. It has been found that oxygen ion migration is favourable for (210) plane than (63-1) and (110) planes.
