Magnetic field induced Anti-ferromagnetic (AFM) to ferromagnetic (FM) phase transition on a sample of Ce(Fe{sub 0.95}Si{sub 0.05}){sub 2} is studied before and after swift Li{sup 3+} ions irradiation. Presence of irradiation induced material defects caused the AFM-FM transition to move to lower fields, increased the zero field magnetic susceptibility in AFM region and decreased the logarithmic relaxation rate in the hysteretic transition region.
