Title: The journey so far and the road ahead

Abstract

The talk gives a brief intoduction to the experimental setups and nuclear structure studies at IUAC in the past. Salient features of the setup of 24 Compton suppressed clover detectors known as Indian National Gamma Array (INGA) commissioned at IUAC and some of the recent works pursued by the nuclear structure group are discussed. The talk also gives a brief overview of the experimental facilities that will be available for nuclear structure studies at IUAC in near future.
