Title: Materials Data on InGeCl3 by Materials Project

InGeCl3 crystallizes in the trigonal R3c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. In1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Cl1- atoms. There are three shorter (3.16 Å) and three longer (3.36 Å) In–Cl bond lengths. Ge2+ is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Cl1- atoms. All Ge–Cl bond lengths are 2.41 Å. Cl1- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to two equivalent In1+ and one Ge2+ atom.
