Title: Materials Data on TmZn2 by Materials Project

Abstract

TmZn2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Imma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Tm is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Zn atoms. There are a spread of Tm–Zn bond distances ranging from 3.05–3.20 Å. Zn is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Tm and four equivalent Zn atoms. There are three shorter (2.57 Å) and one longer (2.90 Å) Zn–Zn bond lengths.
