For this corrigendum, it has been brought to our attention by T R J Bollmann (University of Twente) of typographic errors in our recently submitted manuscript that make reading and understanding of the model difficult. Finally, on Page 4, the text immediately after equation (2), 'where k is an integer denoting one of the five possible' should be modified to read 'where k is an integer denoting the possible steps that can be taken by the adatom (including the possibility of no step), e.g. five possible in the case of the symmetries available in this case'.
