Title: Materials Data on AuClO by Materials Project

AuClO crystallizes in the trigonal R-3 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Au3+ is bonded in a rectangular see-saw-like geometry to three equivalent O2- and one Cl1- atom. There are a spread of Au–O bond distances ranging from 2.04–2.11 Å. The Au–Cl bond length is 2.27 Å. O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal non-coplanar geometry to three equivalent Au3+ atoms. Cl1- is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Au3+ atom.
