Title: Materials Data on Cu2Te by Materials Project

Dataset ·
DOI:https://doi.org/10.17188/1193268· OSTI ID:1193268

Cu2Te crystallizes in the hexagonal P6/mmm space group. The structure is two-dimensional and consists of one Cu2Te sheet oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Cu1+ is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Cu1+ and three equivalent Te2- atoms. There are three shorter (2.48 Å) and one longer (2.59 Å) Cu–Cu bond lengths. All Cu–Te bond lengths are 2.67 Å. Te2- is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Cu1+ atoms.
