Materials Data on CrRh3 by Materials Project
Abstract
CrRh3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Cr is bonded to twelve equivalent Rh atoms to form CrRh12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent CrRh12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent RhCr4Rh8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent CrRh12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent RhCr4Rh8 cuboctahedra. All Cr–Rh bond lengths are 2.69 Å. Rh is bonded to four equivalent Cr and eight equivalent Rh atoms to form distorted RhCr4Rh8 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent RhCr4Rh8 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent CrRh12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent RhCr4Rh8 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent CrRh12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent RhCr4Rh8 cuboctahedra. All Rh–Rh bond lengths are 2.69 Å.
