Materials Data on ZnCo3C by Materials Project
Co3ZnC is (Cubic) Perovskite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to four equivalent Zn and two equivalent C atoms. All Co–Zn bond lengths are 2.64 Å. Both Co–C bond lengths are 1.87 Å. Zn is bonded to twelve equivalent Co atoms to form ZnCo12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent ZnCo12 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent ZnCo12 cuboctahedra, and faces with eight equivalent CCo6 octahedra. C is bonded to six equivalent Co atoms to form CCo6 octahedra that share corners with six equivalent CCo6 octahedra and faces with eight equivalent ZnCo12 cuboctahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°.
