Modeling technology and techniques special study. Final report
The Modeling Technology and Techniques Special Study evaluates computer software and hardware requirements for UMTRA groundwater restoration activities, and provides recommendations for inquisition of computer software, graphics packages, and hardware. As part of this study, a literature search was conducted, and information was solicited from the national laboratories and university and government research organizations to assess recent groundwater modeling developments. In addition, the Geraghty & Miller Modeling Group and In-Situ were contacted for information on their modeling techniques. A peer review of this special study was conducted by Weston; their comments have been incorporated into this report. The results of the literature search and the personal contacts were incorporated into recommendations on modeling software, hardware, and graphics for groundwater restoration.
