From the Lab to the Market Place to Standards
Abstract
Yes, that’s Billions, not Millions. It’s equivalent to avoiding 35 million barrels/day of oil (out of World daily use of 85 Mbod), or getting 1 Billion cars off the road (but the world has only 600 Million cars). And California is doing even better than the US. All this was so easy and few people even noticed. Energy efficiency is the cheapest, faster, most reliable way to reduce the emissions of CO2. It won’t solve the entire problem, but it will get us half way there, and profitably.
