Getting More Solar on to the Grid by Managing Swings in Voltage
Abstract
As electric utilities install more solar power, they must manage the quick changes in voltage that these plants can produce. NREL teamed-up with GE’s Grid Solutions business to identify ways a major U.S. electric utility could use its existing grid management system to address this challenge.
