Title: Towards a Consensus Annotation System (GSC8 Meeting)

The Genomic Standards Consortium was formed in September 2005. It is an international, open-membership working body which promotes standardization in the description of genomes and the exchange and inmore »tegration of genomic data. The 2009 meeting was an activity of a five-year funding from the National Science Foundation and was organized held at the DOE Joint Genome Institute with organizational support provided by the JGI and by the University of California - San Diego.
