The layered RuBr 3 –RuI 3 honeycomb system (in EN)

A honeycomb layered Ru(Br1−xIx)3solid solution is prepared through a high-pressure synthesis method, with anion disorder and strong spin–orbit coupling. Their electronic and magnetic properties vary dramatically with changing chemical composition.
