ABSTRACT We report whole-genome sequences of eight bacteria isolated from laboratory-kept Macrocystis pyrifera gametophytes. The bacterial culture collection is maintained in cryostorage and will be utilized in future applications as inoculants. The genomes were assembled using Oxford Nanopore Technology long-read sequencing.
