Title: Search for $B^{0} \to p \bar{Λ} π^{-} γ$ at Belle

Abstract

We search for the charmless B⁰ decay with final state particles p¯Λπ^–γ using the full data sample that contains 772 × 10⁶BB¯ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e⁺e^– collider. Here, this decay is predicted to proceed predominantly via the b → sγ radiative penguin process with a high energy photon. No significant signal is found. As a result, we set an upper limit of 6.5 × 10^–7 for the branching fraction of B⁰ → p¯Λπ^–γ at the 90% confidence level.

We report a search for the rare charmless decay B+ → K¯^*0K^*+ using a data sample of 772 × 10⁶ BB¯ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e⁺e^– collider. Here, no statistically significant signal is found and a 90% confidence-level upper limit is set on the decay branching fraction of B(B⁺ → K¯K^*0K^*+) < 1.31 × 10^–6.

Measurements of the absolute branching fractions of $B^{+} \to X_{c \bar{c}} K^{+}$ and $B^{+} \to {\bar{D}}^{(*) 0} π^{+}$ at Belle

We present the measurement of the absolute branching fractions of B⁺ → X_cc¯K⁺ and B⁺ → D¯^(*)0π₊ decays, using a data sample of 772 × 10⁶ BB¯ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e⁺e^– collider. Here, X_cc¯ denotes η_c, J/ψ, χ_c0, χ_c1, η_c(2S), ψ(2S), ψ(3770), X(3872), and X(3915). We do not observe significant signals for X(3872) or X(3915) and set the 90% confidence level upper limits at B(B⁺ → X(3872)K⁺) < 2.6 × 10^–4and B(B⁺ → X(3915)K⁺) < 2.8 × 10^–4.
