Title: New molecular design for blue BODIPYs

Abstract

Dihydro analogues of BODIPYs exhibit spectral features ( Φ f ∼ 0.4–0.9) resembling aminocoumarins and suggest applications for broad-band photosensitization or where large Stokes shifts are desired.
