Supersymmetric Renyi entropy in CFT2 and AdS3

Title: Supersymmetric Renyi entropy in CFT₂ and AdS₃

Abstract

We show that in any two dimensional conformal field theory with (2, 2) super-symmetry one can define a supersymmetric analog of the usual Renyi entropy of a spatial region A. It differs from the Renyi entropy by a universal function (which we compute) of the central charge, Renyi parameter n and the geometric parameters of A. In the limit n → 1 it coincides with the entanglement entropy. Thus, it contains the same information as the Renyi entropy but its computation only involves correlation functions of chiral and anti-chiral operators. We also show that this quantity appears naturally in string theory on AdS3.

We generalize the topological entanglement entropy to a family of topological Renyi entropies parametrized by a parameter alpha, in an attempt to find new invariants for distinguishing topologically ordered phases. We show that, surprisingly, all topological Renyi entropies are the same, independent of alpha for all nonchiral topological phases. This independence shows that topologically ordered ground-state wave functions have reduced density matrices with a certain simple structure, and no additional universal information can be extracted from the entanglement spectrum.

We derive a general formula for the replica partition function in the vacuum state for a large class of interacting theories with fermions, with or without gauge fields, using the equal-time formulation on the light front. A solvable irrelevant deformation of AdS₃/CFT₂

Recently we proposed a universal solvable irrelevant deformation of AdS3/CFT2 duality, which leads in the ultraviolet to a theory with a Hagedorn entropy [1]. In this note we provide a worldsheet description of this theory as a coset CFT, and compare its spectrum to the field theory predictions of [2,3].

Postquantum Quench Growth of Renyi Entropies in Low-Dimensional Continuum Bosonic Systems

The growth of Renyi entropies after the injection of energy into a correlated system provides a window upon the dynamics of its entanglement properties. Here we develop a simulation scheme by which this growth can be determined in Luttinger liquids systems with arbitrary interactions, even those introducing gaps into the liquid. We apply this scheme to an experimentally relevant quench in the sine-Gordon field theory. While for short times we provide analytic expressions for the growth of the second and third Renyi entropy, to access longer times, we combine our scheme with truncated spectrum methods.
