Some remarkable issues are investigated concerning an unconventional type of supersymmetric left-right gauge model, where the fields with different lepton numbers are accommodated together in the SU(2){sub {ital R}} multiplets. The phenomenology of the model is restricted by the generation symmetry in the lepton--Higgs-boson sector which is required to suppress enough the flavor-changing neutral currents mediated by the Higgs fields. The mass matrix of the neutralinos, in particular, has a certain form depending on the possible choices of the generation symmetry. New supersymmetric left-right gauge model: Higgs-boson structure and neutral-current analysis

If the particle content of a supersymmetric SU(3) x SU(2) x SU(2) x U(1) gauge model is extended to include new quarks and leptons as given by the 27 representation of E/sub 6/, an unconventional left-right assignment is possible, resulting in a number of desirable features, one of which is a simpler Higgs-boson structure. Also, a conserved multiplicative quantum number can be defined as a generalization of the usual R parity in most models of supersymmetry. Higgs bosons in a minimal R-parity conserving left-right supersymmetric model

We revisit the Higgs sector of the left-right supersymmetric model. We study the scalar potential in a version of the model in which the minimum is the charge-conserving vacuum state, without R-parity violation or additional nonrenormalizable terms in the Lagrangian. We analyze the dependence of the potential and of the Higgs mass spectrum on the various parameters of the model, pinpointing the most sensitive ones. Spontaneous left-right symmetry breaking in supersymmetric models with only Higgs doublets

We studied the question of parity breaking in a supersymmetric left-right model, in which the left-right symmetry is broken with Higgs doublets (carrying B-L={+-}1). Unlike the left-right symmetric models with triplet Higgs scalars (carrying B-L={+-}2), in this model it is possible to break parity spontaneously by adding a parity-odd singlet. We then discussed how neutrino mass of type-III seesaw can be invoked in this model by adding extra fermion singlets. We considered simple forms of the mass matrices that are consistent with the unification scheme and demonstrate how they can reproduce the required neutrino mixing matrix. Light Higgs mass bound in supersymmetric left-right models

We show that in supersymmetric left-right models (SUSYLR), the upper bound on the lightest neutral Higgs mass can be appreciably higher than that in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). The exact magnitude of the bound depends on the scale of parity restoration and can be 10-20 GeV above the MSSM bound if the mass of the right-handed W{sub R} is in the TeV range. An important implication of our result is that since SUSYLR models provide a simple realization of the seesaw mechanism for neutrino masses, measurement of the Higgs boson mass could provide an independent probe of amore » low seesaw scale.« less
