After reviewing the motivations for cosmological inflation formulated in the formalism of supersymmetry, we argue that the appropriate framework is that of no-scale supergravity. We then show how to construct within this framework inflationary models whose predictions for the tilt in the spectrum of scalar perturbations, n_s, and the ratio, r, of tensor and scalar perturbations coincide with those of the R+R² model of inflation proposed by Starobinsky. Sparticle production and detection at DESY HERA are studied within the recently proposed no-scale flipped SU(5) supergravity model. Among the various reaction channels that could lead to sparticle production at HERA, only the following are within its limit of sensitivity in this model: [ital e][sup [minus]][ital p][r arrow][ital [tilde e]][sub [ital L],][ital R][sup [minus]][chi][sub [ital i]][sup 0]+[ital X],[tilde [nu]][sub [ital e]][chi][sub 1][sup [minus]]+[ital X], where [chi][sub [ital i]][sup 0] ([ital i]=1,2) are the two lightest neutralinos and [chi][sub 1][sup [minus]] is the lightest chargino.
