Detecting dark energy dynamics is the main quest of current dark energy research. Addressing the issue demands a fully consistent analysis of cosmic microwave background, large-scale structure and SN-Ia data with multiparameter freedom valid for all redshifts. Impact of three years of data from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe on cosmological models with dynamical dark energy

The first three years of observation of the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) have provided the most precise data on the anisotropies of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) to date. We investigate the impact of these results and their combination with data from other astrophysical probes on cosmological models with a dynamical dark energy component. By considering a wide range of such models, we find that the constraints on dynamical dark energy are significantly improved compared to the first year data.

Possible evidence for dark matter annihilations from the excess microwave emission around the center of the Galaxy seen by the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe

The Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) experiment has revealed an excess of microwave emission from the region around the center of our Galaxy. It has been suggested that this signal, known as the 'WMAP haze', could be synchrotron emission from relativistic electrons and positrons generated in dark matter annihilations. In this article, we revisit this possibility. We find that the angular distribution of the WMAP haze matches the prediction for dark matter annihilations with a cusped density profile, {rho}(r){proportional_to}r{sup -1.2} in the inner kiloparsecs. Anisotropy probe of galactic and extra-galactic dark matter annihilations

We study the flux and the angular power spectrum of gamma rays produced by dark matter (DM) annihilations in the Milky Way (MW) and in extra-galactic halos. The annihilation signal receives contributions from: (a) the smooth MW halo, (b) resolved and unresolved substructures in the MW, (c) external DM halos at all redshifts, including (d) their substructures.
