We numerically investigate the momentum-space entanglement entropy and entanglement spectrum of the random-dimer model and its generalizations, which circumvent Anderson localization, after a quench in the Hamiltonian parameters. The type of dynamics that occurs depends on whether or not the Fermi level of the initial state is near the energy of the delocalized states present in these models. If the Fermi level of the initial state is near the energy of the delocalized states, we observe an interesting slow logarithmiclike growth of the momentum-space entanglement entropy followed by an eventual saturation. We numerically explore the many body localization (MBL) transition through the lens of the entanglement spectrum. Exact mapping from singular value spectrum of a class of fractal images to entanglement spectrum of one-dimensional free fermions

We examine singular value spectrum of a class of two-dimensional fractal images. We find that the spectra can be mapped onto entanglement spectra of free fermions in one dimension. This exact mapping tells us that the singular value decomposition is a way of detecting a holographic relation between classical and quantum systems.

The Absence of the Selfaveraging Property of the Entanglement Entropy of Disordered Free Fermions in One Dimension

We consider the macroscopic system of free lattice fermions in one dimension assuming that the one-body Hamiltonian of the system is the one dimensional discrete Schrödinger operator with independent identically distributed random potential. We show analytically and numerically that the variance of the entanglement entropy of the segment [−M,M] of the system is bounded away from zero as M→∞.
