Study of $η (1475)$ and $X (1835)$ in radiative $J / ψ$ decays to $γ ϕ$

The decay J/ψ → γγΦ is studied using a sample of 1.31×109 J/ events collected with the BESIII detector. Two structures around 1475 MeV/c² and 1835 MeV/c² are observed in the invariant mass spectrum for the first time. With a fit on the γΦ invariant mass, which takes into account the interference between the two structures, and a simple analysis of the angular distribution, the structure around 1475 MeV/c² is found to favor an assignment as the (1475) and the mass and width for the structure around 1835 MeV/c² are consistent with the X(1835). Radiative and pionic transitions $Z_{c} (4020)^{0} \to X (3872) γ$ and $Z_{c} (4020)^{\pm} \to X (3872) π^{\pm}$

The radiative transitions from the neutral exotic Z_c(4020)⁰ resonance to X(3872) with emission of a photon and the pionic transitions from the charged Z_c(4020)± to X(3872) and a charged pion π^± are considered for both charmoniumlike states being charmed meson-antimeson molecules. The underlying processes for these transitions are the decays of the charmed vector meson to pseudoscalar plus a photon or a pion. It is found that the discussed transition rates typically amount to a branching fraction of several permil with a peak at the vector meson pair threshold.
