AN INVESTIGATION OF THE SPECIFIC CASE OF A GRAPHITE-MODERATED PRESSURE TUBE POWER REACTOR UTILIZING PRESSURIZED WATER AS ITS COOLANT IS GIVEN. A WIDE RANGE OF COMBINATIONS OF WATER AND GRAPHITE CAN BE USED TO ACHIEVE DESIRED VALUES OF PARTICULAR PARAMETERS. SINCE THESE PARAMETERS WILL BE DEPENDANT UPON THE MODERATOR-TO-FUEL RATIO, THE VARIOUS COMBINATIONS OF WATER AND GRAPHITE WILL RESULT IN "CONSTANT MODERATION".
