Description/Abstract:
BOTH ANNEALED AND COLD-WORKED SPECIMENS WERE GIVEN FAST NEWTRON EXPOSURE OVER THE RANGE 10:19 TO 10:21 NEUTRONS/CM2 AT IRRADN TEMPS OF 60 AND 280 C. SPECIMENS WERE TAKEN BOTH FROM THE TRANSVERSE AND ROLLING DIRECTIONS OF SHEET CONTAINING 0, 10, 20, 40, AND 70% COLD WORK. PREFERRED ORIENTATIONS IMPARTED BY COLD ROLLING WERE CHARACTERIZED BY X-RAY DIFFRACTION. MICROGRAPHS ARE INCLUDED. DATA SHOWING EFFECTS OF IRRADN TEMP ON TENSILE PROPS AND OF NEWTRON EXPOSURE ON PROPS IS GIVEN
