WITH THE EXCEPTION OF WORLD-WIDE FALLOUT, THE HANFORD PLANT IS THE ONLY SIGNIFICANT SOURCE OF ARTIFICIAL RADIONUCLIDES TO THE COLUMBIA RIVER AT THIS TIME. ALTHOUGH HANFORD CONTRIBUTES TO THE RADN DOSE OF THOSE WHO USE THE RIVER DOWNSTREAM, THE CONCN OF RADIONUCLIDES IS WELL WITHIN THE MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE LIMITS RECOMMENDED.
