A ZEOLITE WAS SOUGHT FOR USE IN COLUMNS THAT WOULD SELECTIVELY REMOVE CS FROM SOLUTIONS CONTAINING LARGE CONCENTRATIONS OF COMPETING CATIONS. CLINOPTILOLITE WAS FOUND TO BE HIGHLY CS-SELECTIVE OVER WIDE PH, FLOW RATE, AND TEMPERATURE RANGES. THE LARGE CS CAPACITY, RAPID APPROACH TO EQUILIBRIUM, AND HIGH CS SELECTIVITY OF CLINOPTILOLITE ARE APPARENT FROM THE DATA PRESENTED
