CONSIDERS (1) THE OXIDE WETTING PROBLEM (2) MATERIALS AND ANALYTICAL METHODS (3) STABILITY OF SLURRIES AND (4) FLUIDITY. DISPERSIONS OF MOER THAN 13 W/O U AS OXIDE IN BI AND IN BI-PB EUTECTIC HAVE BEEN PREPARED BY THE MG GETTING TECHNIQUE. DISPERSIONS OF 11.5 W/O U AS OXIDE IN BI HAVE BEEN PREPARED IN SITU. AN OXIDE PARTICLE SIZE OF 3-4 MICRONS WAS ATTAINED IN THE IN SITU PREPARATIONS. NO EVIDENCE HAS BEEN FOUND PRETAINING TO RATE OF SEGREGATION OR FLUIDITY OF THE SLURRY WHICH WOULD RESTRICT ITS APPLICATION AS A CIRCULATING REACTOR FUEL.
