THE OBJECT OF THE TEST WAS TO DETERMINE THE POISONING EFFECT AND OPTIMUM CONCENTRATION OF HF WHEN ADDED TO B CARBIDE INTHE VSR'S. TEST RESULTS INDICATE THAT A SAMPLE CONTAINING 80% HF BY WEIGHT WAS ONLY 3.6% MORE EFFECTIVE THAN ONE WITHOUT HF.
