THE AVERAGE REFLECTION AND TRANSMISSION PROBABILITIES FOR NEUTRON HAVING A SINGLE ISOTROPIC SCATTERING COLLISION IN SLAB OF FINITE THICKNESS IS FOUND FOR THE GENERAL CASE OF COS-K ENTRANT ANGULAR DISTRIBUTION. EXTENSIVE TABLES ARE PRESENTED OF FUNCTIONS WHICH ARISE IN THE DETERMINATION OF THSE PROBABILITIES. THE AVERAGE NON-ESCAPE PROBABILITY FOR NEUTRONS WHICH HAVE REACHED A LIMITED DISTRIBUTION AS A RESULT OF MANY SCATTERING COLLISIONS IS CONSIDERED. AN EXPRESSION FOR THE CAPTURE FRACTION OF A SLAB FOR COS-K ENTRANT NEUTRONS VALID OVER A LARGE RANGE OF SLAB THICKNES AND SCATTERING TO TOTAL CROSS SECTION RATIOS IS PRESENTED.
