THE PRESSURE DROPS OF THE FUEL ELEMENTS CONSIDERED FOR TESTING WERE EXPERIMENTALLY DETERMINED FOR A LIMITED NUMBER OF ELEMENTS AT SELECTED FLOW RATES FOR ROOM TEMPERATURE OPERATION. PRESSURE DROP OF EACH TYPE WAS DECTECTED ANALYTICALLY. TABULATES THE NUMBER OF EACH TYPE OF FUEL ELEMENTS THAT CAN BE USED AT THE KER OPERATING CONDITIONS OF 6 GPM FLOW AT 600F WITH A LIMIT OF 25 PSI PRESSURE DROP. ELEMENTS TESTED INCLUDE (1) STANDARD (2) ELEPHANT AND COW (3) BULL (4) 4-ROD CLUSTER, INTEGRAL SPIDER (5) 4-ROD CLUSTER, EXTERNAL SPIDER AND (6) 7-ROD CLUSTER.
