EXPERIMENTS CONDUCTED IN THE HANFORD TEST PILE YIELD THE RESULT THAT CYLINDERS CONTAINING U235 AT DENSITIES LESS THAN 0.35 GM/CM3 WILL HAVE A ZERO DOPPLER COEFFICIENT IN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE FROM 50 TO 500C.
